- Hi,
-
- I am an undergraduate student of De La Salle University, Manila,
- Philippines.
- I am developing a video conferencing system with 3 computers in
- a stand alone LAN.
- Here are the complete specification of our Hardware and Software.
-
- NOS - Windows for Workgroups 3.11
- TCP/IP stack - OnNet 1.1
- Network card - 3Com 3C503
- WinSock 1.1
- Video for Windows - video and audio manipulation
- Sound blaster - for the audio capture
- Video blaster - for the video capture
- MSVC 1.52
-
- I am having difficulty in configuring OnNet 1.1 on my system, thus
- I cannot run my old WinSock applications which I did using the
- MS TCP/IP. I migrated to OnNet 1.1 since my application needs support
- for 'muticasting'.
-
- Questions :
-
- 1. Are we on the right track ?
- 2. Are there any other TCP/IP stacks that supports multicasting ?
- 3. How do you save and retrieve avi streams in memory ?
- 4. If you have the similar application, is it possible if you can
- share with me your source code. Pardon my agressiveness I am in
- desperate need since twice I had presented and defended this project
- and twice I was given an F=Fail and I will be doing the same thing
- next month.
-
- Thanks in advance.
